I had a a very interesting afternoon today. Alliance Films had their press screening for The Hunger Games, and while I’m still trying to figure out how I felt about it, I really enjoyed the film as a whole. I was also amazed at how tense I felt throughout most of the movie, which I was not expecting at all, to be blunt.

Right now I’m even considering reading the first book before I finish my review over the weekend too.

Stay tuned early next week as I’ll have my full review on Tuesday.

(The only complaint I’m make right now though? I’m not sure I buy Jennifer Lawrence as a sixteen-year-old.)

Very glad to hear a reviewer say they will spend time digesting before writing the review. If the movie’s effect is anything like the book, the impact grows with time as the story gets inside you and ferments.
