We’ve been hearing the hotel horror stories for ages now. Filthy rooms, unchanged sheets, and so on. This one didn’t surprise me in the least, but it’s one that I bet most of you have never thought of…

That said, I can’t get over how scared people are of every little thing. As my friend Peter just said to me, “Do you know what you can catch in a hotel room? Obsessive compulsive disorder.”

I’d say just use some common sense. If you’re going to stay in a city somewhere, pick the hotel with an actual star rating. You’re better off paying $50 extra a night than wondering if there are bugs in the bed, or bacteria on your glasses.
