This is one of those great moments that says, at least to me, why the East Coast of Canada is so awesome. Apparently David Letterman mentioned during an interview with Nova Scotian actress Ellen Page that he had heard the province was beautiful and might have to visit some day. Locals latched onto the idea, and this week Nova Scotia’s premier Rodney MacDonald posted his Top 10 reasons why Letterman should visit.

The Star has a story on the whole sequence of events, which also explains that Letterman’s production company has said they don’t expect to be making any travel plans.

Still, Nova Scotia is a beautiful place to visit – nothing like some good publicity.
