A huge box arrived in the mail today, and I just had to share details on the goodies since it was a pretty fun little haul to promote the upcoming launch of The Bachelor Canada, which debuts next Wednesday, October 3, on Citytv.
In the box, there was a mini football, candy rose, “diamond ring” key chain, “black book” notebook, DVD copy of William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, and a CD of Brad’s favorite songs, including:
- “To Build a Home” – The Cinematic Orchestra ft. Patrick Watson
- “Soldier On” – Temper Trap
- “Sweet Disposition” – Temper Trap
- “Fix You” – Coldplay
- “Wicked Game” – Chris Isaak
I get the feeling those songs set a certain tone, but I guess fans will find out soon enough.
The only thing that wasn’t in the box? Earlier this week, Rogers Media held their media screening for the first episode of the show, and I had the good fortune to take part, and they had the most incredible cupcakes decorated as giant roses courtesy of It’s The Icing On The Cake!. Let me just say that I have eaten a lot of cupcakes in my time, but these were the best cupcakes I have ever eaten. Not even a contest.
