The cast of X-Men: First Class
Earlier today I had a chance to screen Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class, and all I’m gonna say so far is that the hype is fairly accurate–it’s an awesome film, but it was seriously deficient in the cameo department.
Specifically, where the hell was Stan Lee?
Every Marvel superhero movie, especially the ones based on characters Stan helped create, should have a Stan Lee cameo.
That said, I do appreciate the one very, very cool cameo in the film.
Yes, the reports are accurate–we get a little Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
Around the middle mark of the movie, Professor Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr (AKA Magneto), played by James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender respectively, are out hunting for mutants when they stumble on Mr. Wolverine in a bar, who promptly tells them both, as I recall, to “Go fuck yourselves.”
