Watch: “Fight for Sokovia” clip from Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

by W. Andrew Powell

Thanks to the good people at Marvel Studios, The GATE is thrilled to present a Canadian exclusive clip from Avengers: Age of Ultron: “Fight for Sokovia”. The scene, which is late in the film, features all of the Avengers kicking butt against Ultron’s minions, and sets the stage for Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen)–AKA Scarlet Witch–to stand up and fight.

The whole scene follows a moment between Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Scarlet Witch, where he tries to give the newbie, would-be hero a pep talk that will get her out of hiding and using her powers to help the Avengers.

This clip also features some great metallic-butt-kicking courtesy of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and his pals.

Avengers: Age of Ultron has a lot of old and new faces alike coming together to face the intellectual villain, and this scene is just a hint at some of the big battle scenes from the film.

Marvel fans will otherwise have to wait until October 2, 2015 for the 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray, and DVD, which include a few extras: Never-before-seen deleted scenes, making-of featurettes, a gag reel, and an audio commentary. If you just can’t wait until October though, the digital 3D and HD editions arrive on September 8, 2015.

Synopsis: Marvel Studios unleashes the next global phenomenon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. Good intentions wreak havoc when Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) unwittingly creates Ultron (James Spader), a terrifying A.I. monster who vows to achieve “world peace” via mass extinction. Now, Iron Man, Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo)–alongside Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson)–must reassemble to defeat Ultron and save mankind… if they can! This action-packed adventure is a must-own, mind-blowing blast!
