Model Spotlight: April Ireland
Her name is April Ireland, and she’s a hot, up-and-coming model who has been featured in numerous Playboy publications, including Wet ‘n’ Wild 2006, Lingerie 2007, the Model of the Day, and Cyber Girl, just to name a few. She was also a semi-finalist in Maxim’s Hometown Hotties 2006, and was featured in Umm Magazine.

What goals do you have?
I have a lot of goals I want to accomplish in my lifetime. I love modeling so much I dream to be able to become successful at it. I would also love have a family and lots of nice things in life – I’m a girl, what can I say? I am a very determined person once my mind is set on something there is no turning back.
How did you get into modeling?
When I was much younger I used to pose in front of the camera all the time, so my parents decided to put me into junior modeling. I was 9 at the time and like any kid didn’t stick with it, I wanted to do other things. I was very energetic growing up and was always doing different activates such as… jazz dancing, swimming, skating, karate, boxing etc…
What is your proudest moment so far?
My proudest moment so far in my life, I would have to say is graduating from college for Interior Design after 2 1/2 years of stressful sleepless nights. So not only do I enjoy being in front of the camera but I know how to design as well.
What are some of your favorite movies, or who are your favorite actors or actresses?
My all time favorite movie I would have to say is Romeo + Juliet (I am a sucker for Shakespeare) and Walt Disney movie is Little Mermaid, but in general I enjoy watching medieval, action and comedies. My favorite actor is of course Brad Pitt and favorite actress is Angelina Jolie and what a coincidence they’re currently an item. Definitely the best looking couple around.
Where would you love to travel to, or what is your favorite place for vacation?
I dream of traveling to the Caribbean. I’d love to be on a white sandy beach, with the sun blazing and a nice cold tropical drink in my hand. Whenever I fell stressed that is where I think about being. The list doesn’t stop there… I want to travel to Bora Bora and Fiji as well as a lot of other exotic places and Europe. There are so many different places and cultures that I hope to explore. I guess you could say anywhere that’s warm and beautiful works for me.
Who do you look up to, or who are your heros?
Well that is an easy question my Mom and Dad. They are the strongest, self motivated, inspiring people I have ever known. They have always encouraged me, even when it was something crazy and ridiculous. I could always tell my parents absolutely anything and they’d always have something positive to say.
