Razzies ready to ‘honour’ year’s worst

Forget about the ridiculous People’s Choice Awards, which were handed out tonight, and forget about all of the film critics, the Golden Globes, and even the Oscar nominations.

Never mind any of those legitimate awards, the best announcement this month is for something far sillier.

I’m of course talking about the 29th annual Razzie Awards.

The Golden Raspberry, for those of you who weren’t already aware, recognize the absolute worst films of the year, and as Hollywood pumps out more crap, there’s all the more to honour it seems.

Personally, I think there are just way too many nominations for the list to really have any teeth, but I give them credit, it doesn’t get much worse than In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, The Hottie & The Nottie, or The Happening.
