Director Ruba Nadda returns to the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival with her latest film, October Gale, a psychological thriller starring Patricia Clarkson, Scott Speedman and Tim Roth.
Clarkson stars as a doctor who finds a wounded man, played by Speedman, at her cottage, but it’s not long before she discovers that someone is hunting her mystery man, and they will have to escape together to survive.
October Gale premieres at the Winter Garden Theatre on Thursday, September 11 at 8:00 PM, and then screens again on Friday, September 12 at 9:15 AM at TIFF Bell Lightbox, Cinema 2.
Nadda is certainly no stranger to TIFF, with October Gale marking her third time at the festival after Cairo Time in 2009, and Inescapable in 2012.
