Sock-It To Prostate Cancer with Harry Rosen

Harry Rosen and Prostate Cancer Canada are inspiring men across the country to put on a pair of socks to support the fight against prostate cancer, with 100% of sales of limited-edition, made-in-Italy socks by Marcoliani going to fund research and awareness efforts.

The blue-on-blue luxury striped socks, which use the signature colour for prostate cancer awareness, are currently on sale for $35 each, and are available only through Harry Rosen stores and on the company’s website, while supplies last.

“We are committed to the fight against cancer,” Larry Rosen, chairman and CEO of Harry Rosen said in the press release. “To date we’ve raised more than $3 million through events like Harry’s Spring Run-Off and Golf To Conquer Cancer. But this an opportunity for men to have some fun with their wardrobe and proudly show off their socks for a great cause.”

Prostate Cancer Canada is positioning themselves “to eliminate the disease through research, advocacy, education, support and awareness,” the company noted in the press release, while Prostate Cancer Canada president and CEO Rocco Rossi noted, “The threat of prostate cancer for men is far greater than is commonly known. One in eight Canadian men will be diagnosed with this disease in their lifetime.”

With Father’s Day just around the corner, the promotion is a great opportunity to support a good cause with a luxury gift.
