This week on DVD and Blu-ray, Matt Damon stars in Steven Soderbergh’s corporate drama, The Informant!; Cameron Diaz and James Marsden play a troubled couple in the sci-fi film, The Box; plus a look at Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant and Sorority Row.

New this week, Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx star in the action-thriller, Law Abiding Citizen; and in the biopic Coco Avant Chanel, Audrey Tautou portrays one of fashion’s most important women.

New arrivals on DVD and Blu-ray for February 2 include the horror comedy Zombieland, starring Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg; the drama, Amelia, with Hilary Swank and Richard Gere; plus the romantic drama Love Happens.

New this week on DVD and Blu-ray, Ellen Page stars in the action-packed dramedy Whip It, and Bruce Willis stars in the sci-fi actioner Surrogates. Plus a look at Prom Night in Mississippi, The Boys Are Back, and Saw VI.

New this week on DVD and Blu-ray, Ricky Gervais stars in the comedy The Invention Of Lying, Jim Sturgess plays a double-agent in the drama 50 Dead Men Walking, plus a look at Gamer, starring Gerard Butler, and Whiteout with Kate Beckinsale.

Coming out this week on Blu-ray and DVD, director Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker debuts after months of critical acclaim, while Sam Rockwell stars in the minimalistic sci-fi drama, Moon. Other new releases include Big Fan, Fame, and Halloween II.

Happy New Year, everyone. The holidays are safely behind us now, and the epic pile of new releases that came out at the end of 2009 is slowly starting to dwindle. There are a few notable new films on DVD and Blu-ray though, including the wonderfully silly, The Final Destination, the animated sci-fi adventure, 9, not to mention the campy Jennifer’s Body, and the animated movie, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs.
