Yesterday was an entertaining day at the Toronto International Film Festival, and kind of a big deal for me. I mean, all of the festival is a big deal, but this was a *big* deal. First off I interviewed Sam Neill for Daybreakers, which was actually my second interview with him (I was lucky enough to have chatted with him last year for Skin).
Ontario’s own 22-year-old Jayde Nicole has been named as Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year. Originally gracing the pages of the seminal men’s magazine as Miss January 2007, the sweet brunette will appear in the June issue of Playboy and earns $100,000 and a new car.
Friday night was Gemsen Canada’s big “Winter Wonderland” fashion show for Playboy’s Spring 2007 Lingerie and Swimwear line, and in attendence was Canada’s own January 2007 Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole. She posed for photos before taking the stage with the other models, and well, the crowd went nuts.
