Last Friday, the Burroughes Building on Queen West packed in the media types, local celebrities, and business types for Media Profile’s big, annual holiday party, showing us all a great time with oh-so-sweet drinks and treats for the folks they do business with throughout the year.
Taking over the sixth floor–a space that sees a lot of parties and events throughout the year–the party had a DJ spinning tunes, a photo booth for snapping personal shots, delicious food, and maybe best of all, a whisky tasting bar featuring some very impressive drinks.
The party was so good, it even made The Star‘s “Top Five Crashworthy Holiday Parties” list, and drew a number of notable locals, including Lloyd Robertson.
So, I just have to say big thanks to Media Profile for inviting me back to their holiday party once again, and for the great atmosphere with some folks I don’t often get to chat with over drinks. Since I was relaxed and enjoying the event, I wasn’t exactly in a photo-snapping mood, but the one thing that begged to be photographed was the whisky tasting bar, so here’s a quick shot from the party.
