I’ve always loved this song – up there with The Cure and Nine Inch Nails in terms of pure, amazing mood potential. But one thing makes this song stand out just a bit more for me: the opening sequence to Donnie Darko. If you haven’t seen it – well, it’s a total mood setter for the entire film.
Anyway, check it out – the video for Echo & The Bunnymen’s utter classic – “The Killing Moon” from the CD Ocean Rain.
