The Barenaked Ladies

After something like 19 years, they are still one of my all-time favorite bands.

I just finished listening to the Barenaked Ladies‘ new single “You Run Away” and I can’t wait for the full album, which is appropriately enough called All in Good Time.

Admittedly, they have had some duds over the years, and I was a bit worried when Steven Page left the band, but Ed Robertson is an amazing singer, and clearly the band has had no problems writing at least one catchy new song. It also sounds like they’ve gotten a bit more serious without Page, which is going to be interesting.

Check out the track below, which I picked up from the band’s website, and then let us know what you think in the comments.

Like the author I have been a long time BNL fan. I think this new track is very fresh and possibly an indication to a new direction, although one track doesn’t make an album of course.

I personally have fallen for this song and can’t wait to hear the new album and see the guys again when they tour the UK
