These are kinda late, but finally wanted to pass on a few more shots I took over the Celebrate Toronto …
Just wanted to share a new photo I took over the weekend. More to come…
This is seriously about the 6th or 7th kind of software or script that I’ve used to blog with in just 5 …
Remakes are pretty common these days, and many of them are formidable films at the box office and sometimes even critical successes as well, but more often than not, they’re messes that should never have been considered. Well, Disney is about to venture into remake territory (again) and I have to say something. Don’t wreck Tron.
I find it hard to believe, but the 2002 Toronto International Film Festival is now all wrapped up. It was a crazy 10 days of events, and even though I didn’t find my way into any of the hip special parties, I did have a great time.
While I work on getting more stuff up about the Festival, here’s some information and stats to keep you amused:
The 2002 Toronto International Film Festival is quickly becoming history as events begin to wind down and some of the guests start to depart. Today, one of the darker days in history and a tough time for many, marks the point in the festival when last year’s red carpets were removed and things took a much lower key in respect to the events in New York. With that in mind I went to see a film called 11’09″01 last night (which will be a Gala presentation tonight).
Yesterday was yet another crazy day, but it worked out really well. Went to press conferences for The Four Feathers and The Wild Thornberrys Movie, so I now have photos of Heath Ledger, Kate Hudson, Lacy Chabert, and Tim Curry. Plus, I went off to the red carpet arrivals for The Four Feathers and got some nice shots of Heath and Kate walking down the carpet.
I had the interview with Bruce Campbell this morning and all I can say is… wow. He’s such a great guy to interview and it’s almost impossible to ask something that he can’t answer. I got video, photos and even some time with the director of Bubba Ho-Tep, Don Coscarelli, who was also great to chat with.
Just a quick update from the Toronto International Film Festival!
