Lisa Heller’s “Closure” is a bitter-sweet ballad that will feel familiar for anyone who fell in and out of love, but doesn’t have the heart to say goodbye.

“It’s about wanting closure but not really,” Heller said of the single, her third from her upcoming debut EP, The Lisa Heller Project.

The song is a yearning, aching ballad filled with heart and Heller’s vocals are honest and gorgeous, accompanied simply by piano.

Heller started out at 13 writing music in her bedroom, and grew her following over the years in songwriting competitions, performances, and local radio. The result: her debut single “Hope” reached over 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Since then, she’s moved to L.A. and soon you’ll hear the results on her debut EP, coming out on April 17.
