Take a trip to “Miami” with up-and-coming artist Erik Frank, and his incredible single that’s equal parts R&B, and indie pop.

“Life changes at 21,” Frank said. “Written the first day I moved to Los Angeles. I’m starting my new life. Leaving the past behind is tough and I would still go back to her.”

The song is a remorseful love letter, sent from someone who moved on, and still isn’t sure about the right decision.

Frank has travelled the world, and finally settled down in the U.S., but he grew up in a small village of just 200 people. Since then though, he’s earned over 300 million streams, and Imagine Dragons producer Jayson DeZuzio has nicknamed him Melody Genius.
