MTV has announced the nominees for the 2007 MTV Movie Awards, and leading the pack is the comic book adaptation 300, which got a total of five nominations, followed by the Johnny Depp driven action adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.
The MTV Movie awards are just a little bit different from most awards shows, with categories including “Best Villain”, “Best Kiss”, and even “Best Summer Movie You Haven’t Seen Yet”. Comedian Sarah Silverman will host the event live from Los Angeles, and you can catch it on MTV Canada on Sunday, June 3 at 8:00 PM (ET).
