Comic book artist, writer, and director Frank Miller brings Will Eisner‘s iconic graphic novel The Spirit to theatres this December with a cast that is sure to turn heads.

Starring Gabriel Macht as our hero, The Spirit, Samuel L. Jackson plays the part of his nemesis, The Octopus, in a story set in Central City where The Spirit has miraculously returned from the dead. As The Octopus looks for his own way to immortality, The Spirit has to keep an eye on the women of his city who seem to either want to love or kill him.

The bevy of beauties includes Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss, Sarah Paulson as Ellen Dolan, Eva Mendes as Sand Saref, Paz Vega as Plaster of Paris, Jaime King as Lorelei Rox, and Stana Katic as Morgenstern.
