What’s happening: NXNE Day 2

The second day of NXNE has dawned, and here are the latest things happening around the city for the festival, which runs until Sunday, June 16.

This is a short-but-sweet list today, but stay tuned as tomorrow is really the first major day for the music portion of the festival, which features 1000 bands and musicians across the city of Toronto.

NXNE MUSIC
Oliver Pigott | 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM
Trinity Square (Front Street East and Jarvis Street)
Oliver Pigott is a folk rock artist best known for his work on Canadian Idol and CBC’s Being Erica.

Sketchbook Project – Mobile Library | 7:00 PM
The Drake Hotel (1150 Queen St West)
The Sketchbook Project is an interactive, traveling exhibition of 3000 sketchbooks submitted by thousands of artists from across the globe in the Mobile Library, a 16-foot custom trailer.
