Name dropping – it’s one of the finest sports in the entertainment business, and today the Toronto International Film Festival dropped an orgy of big-name celebrities who are attending this year’s festival.
With a series of Biblical-like disasters behind the city, it’s almost amazing that Toronto is still standing. But, with Tuesday’s announcement for this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (which runs between September 4th to 13th), it’s time to put all that behind us and enjoy the barrage of films and movie stars who will descend on our city.

That’s the premise of Charmed, a Spelling Television production that features Alyssa Milano as Phoebe, Holly Marie Combs as Piper, and Rose McGowan as Paige, a trio of sisters who must keep their identity as “The Charmed Ones” secret from the world. The series is currently in its fifth season and often combines the sexy imagery of its slick gothic style with Buffy: The Vampire Slayer type action and drama.
