Looking for a trip that offers swank romance this Valentine’s Day? While Las Vegas may be known as North America’s destination for gambling and parties, the city also offers some of the best accommodations and restaurants, on top of one-of-a-kind events and shows, making it the perfect spot to wine and dine your favorite person this February.

For Canadians, escaping to Las Vegas during the winter months is also very affordable, with some packages including flight and accommodations coming in at just $1000 per person for hotels like the luxurious Bellagio, or ARIA.

Here are a few suggestions, courtesy of MGM Resorts International and their group of hotels and luxury properties, for romantic and fun ideas this Valentine’s Day:

Romantic Escape
The ultimate romantic retreat, ARIA Sky Suites offers couples their own private sanctuary overlooking the Las Vegas skyline where they can relax in a steam shower or soak in a whirlpool tub before slipping into plush robes and slippers. The advanced room entertainment system sets the mood for the evening at the touch of a button.

Couples Pampering
For partners looking to relax together in an intimate setting, Spa Bellagio’s Couples Pampering Package invites lovebirds to unwind and relax side by side in a private candlelit room, each with their own personal therapist. The pair will indulge in champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries while enjoying an herbal-infused massage for the legs, feet and hands, creating a sensation of pure bliss.

Fairy Tale Fun
There is nothing more romantic than the fantastical love story of Jack and Rose on board the Ship of Dreams. It has been more than a century since Titanic set sail, and the world-famous fictional romance comes to life at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Luxor Hotel & Casino. Lovers can share a kiss at the recreated bow of the ship under the stars, or on the Grand Staircase surrounded by dramatic and opulent architecture of the 1900s.

All You Need Is Love
Drawn from the poetry of the lyrics, The Beatles Love by Cirque du Soleil explores the group’s iconic songs in a series of visually compelling scenes brought to life by colorful characters. The production’s youthful energy and imagination will have couples singing along to joyful tunes as they dance in the aisles.

Date Night
A perfect date night begins with hand-crafted cocktails at miX at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay where lovers can cozy up in the plush lounge seating and be dazzled by the best open-air view of The Strip. Walking hand-in-hand down Las Vegas Boulevard, couples can stop to take in the iconic Fountains of Bellagio. The show continues from Picasso’s intimate, outdoor patio where they can indulge in impeccable cuisine created by world-renowned Chef Julian Serrano and wine expertly paired by Master Sommelier Robert Smith. For dessert, sweethearts can share carefully crafted chocolates, pastries and signature truffles from Jean Philippe Pâtisserie.

Flirtatious Fantasy
Famous French lingerie label Kiki de Montparnasse in The Shops Crystals offers a customized Romance Concierge service that goes beyond rose petals and champagne. Boutique specialists select erotic accessories and silky lingerie to design a night tailored to any couple’s fantasies–only limited by their imaginations.
