Three days onboard the Disney Treasure, Disney Cruise Line’s new ship

by W. Andrew Powell

What makes a vacation a great one? As the saying goes, it’s the journey, not the destination, but it’s also so many little details along the way. When everything comes together, it’s magical, and that’s what made me love the Disney Treasure so much.

The ship is “Shining, shimmering, splendid,” with so many highlights and things to do. My daughter loved the Tween Edge club. My wife and I enjoyed the cocktails and atmosphere at the Haunted Mansion Parlor and Skipper Society. And the restaurants–especially Plaza de Coco–were wonderful, with delicious menus and excellent entertainment.

When it comes down to it, beyond all of the things to do on the ship, the destinations, and the Disney magic, what makes the Disney Treasure so unique is that there is a lot for families to do together, there is also a lot for kids to do, and there is so much for couples to do. The ship makes for a wonderful vacation because everyone will find things to do.

For a full tour of the ship, the activities and spaces, the bars, and everything we loved on the cruise, watch my video above or on YouTube.
