The season finale of Doctor Who, starring Peter Capaldi as The Doctor and Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald, is just days away, and that made me realize I never shared something spectacular from earlier this year: my Doctor Who-themed birthday cookies.
My wife ordered these for me from Cameron, a local baker who runs White Owl Bakery. At the time, Cameron had done a few Doctor Who cookies before, but these days they are one of her most popular items, and I think it’s pretty obvious why.
After I saw these, I knew I needed her to do another job for me, so I had her make logo cookies for The GATE, which turned out amazingly, but I still can’t get over what she accomplished with these Doctor Who cookies.
The TARDIS was my favorite, but all of them were perfect, from the Weeping Angel, Dalek, and Sonic Screwdriver, to the Adipose, bow tie, and even my age (39) with Gallifreyan writing all over it.

Next up, I may need to challenge her to make me some sweet holiday cookies, but I also wonder how she’d do with Marvel heroes as her muse. Maybe next year.
