GoTenna Mesh

For the campers, the travellers, the off-roaders, and anyone who just wants to be prepared for an emergency, The GATE has teamed up with goTenna to give away a goTenna Mesh prize pack that keeps your devices connected nearly anywhere.

The goTenna Mesh is available now in Canada on their website with free ground shipping to Canada, through Amazon.ca, London Drugs, and Sport Chek.

As a special offer, The GATE has also set up a discount code when you order through the goTenna website. Just enter the code: GATE15 to take 15% off the price of any device package.

About goTenna Mesh: No service? Stay connected anywhere with the goTenna Mesh, a candy bar-sized device that sends texts and GPS coordinates between phones using radio frequencies. It can also create a “mesh” network by hopping messages across devices. The more goTenna Meshes are in an area, the bigger the range. Whether you’re camping, hiking, going to a concert, packed into a crowded stadium, traveling overseas, or find yourself in an emergency situation, goTenna Mesh keeps you connected. Point-to-point range varies depending on terrain and elevation, but expect about half a kilometre in congested urban areas and four kilometres in wide open areas.

Giveaway Details: The GATE’s goTenna Mesh giveaway is open to residents of Canada who are over the age of 18. Contest closes on February 19, 2018 at noon (ET). The chance of winning depends on total number of entries. This prize is valued at approximately $249. One entry per person. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of credit and the prize may not be exactly as shown. The GATE reserves the right to make substitute the prize for another of equal or greater value.

This is really cool. We travel with our old phones & no SIM cards. In the past we have rented hot spots. But I love the Go Tenna Mesh idea. We will be looking into them – especially before our summer hiking & camping starts up .
