Watch: Glen Foster’s “Rockabilly Fever”

by W. Andrew Powell

Singer and songwriter Glen Foster is a Canadian music veteran, working alongside music greats, at iconic venues across the country. Hoping to bring some light to the world, he’s channeling good vibes all the way, including on his feel-good new single, “Rockabilly Fever”.

“Right now I’m into creating a positive message,” Foster said. “I want to be encouraging and not just concentrate on all the negative things in the world. As a musician, an entertainer, I want to be uplifting, put a smile on somebody’s face and maybe make them laugh a little bit. I don’t want to be on a platform or be a preacher. I just want to make great music that people like.”

Foster has worked with the likes of Lighthouse, Dr. Hook, Stan Rogers, Sammy Hagar, and even Valdy, and he’s played gigs at the great Massey Hall, El Mocambo, Ian Tyson Show, and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
