The first ever Blue Mountain Film Festival is in the books after five days of industry sessions, music, events, films, and fantastic hospitality. As a movie lover, BMFF was a refreshing opportunity to connect with industry attendees, watch wonderful films, and explore the picturesque Blue Mountain Village.

Ontario is an incredible province, and it’s a huge place to explore. The fourth-largest province has dozens of interesting towns and cities, and includes the Canadian Shield, touches on the Hudson Bay to the north, the Great Lakes to the South, and it’s filled with stunning natural spaces.
One of my favourite events in southwestern Ontario returns on Saturday, September 21 at Blue Mountain Village, and there will be beer, food, and fantastic festivities once again at Creemore Springs’ Oktoberfest at Blue.
Fall is my favorite season for travel. The leaves are changing, the weather is perfect for cozy sweaters, and there’s nothing like a walk in the woods, a hike, or maybe a trip to an orchard to pick apples. My family celebrated fall foliage last week with our first trip to the Westin Trillium House, Blue Mountain near Collingwood, Ontario, and it was a fun escape with a view, fresh air, and a chance to explore Blue Mountain.
