Opening this week just in time for Christmas holidays, Robert Downey Jr. stars as tough but wise Sherlock Holmes; Daniel Day-Lewis stars in Rob Marshall‘s musical, Nine; plus a look at Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, It’s Complicated, Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, and Up In The Air.
After watching the Golden Globes tonight, I couldn’t help but take a few minutes to post something quick, because I feel kind of mesmerized by the results, and what is still to come with the Oscars.
Visit the quant city of Gotham as our hero Batman fights for his life, and his sanity, in The Dark Knight, which arrives on DVD and Blu-ray. Also on store shelves this week, Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!, and the Blu-ray release of Dr. Strangelove.
One of the year’s biggest films arrives this week with the debut of The Dark Knight, starring Heath Ledger as the insane Joker. Also arriving this week is the musical comedy Mamma Mia!, a trio of farcical animated simians in Space Chimps, and the documentary Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson.
