How Christopher Heard became a biographer to some of Hollywood’s elite

This should come as no surprise, as he has recently spent 2 years living in The Royal York hotel as a “Writer in Residence” while completing his latest book The Suite Life – The Magic and Mystery of Hotel Living.
In honour of next week’s release of Source Code on DVD and Blu-ray, and because it’s one of my favorite topics, this week for DVD Tuesday I’m counting down the ten best time travel movies. From science fiction, action, adventure, and horror, to comedy, and even a romantic comedy or two, these movies cover almost every genre, and I’m ranking them not just on how great the movie is, but also, how well they approach a time travel story.

This is apparently a bad week to be a movie fan, or a movie critic for that matter. New films opening this weekend include three big duds, including: the underwater thriller, Sanctum; the college thriller, The Roommate, starring Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly; and the psychological drama, Frankie and Alice, starring Halle Berry.
Coming out this week on Blu-ray and DVD: M. Night Shyamalan delivers the adaptation of the effect-laden The Last Airbender; Jim Carrey leads Disney’s animated remake of A Christmas Carol; plus a look at James Cameron’s Avatar: Extedned Edition.
Opening in theatres this weekend: Matt Dillon stars in the heist-thriller, Takers; a preacher has a test of faith as he faces the first real possession of his life in The Last Exorcism; and James Cameron’s epic 3D adventure Avatar returns to theatres.
New this week on home video, Emily Blunt stars in The Young Victoria; plus Steven Spielberg‘s Minority Report and James Cameron‘s epic Avatar both arrive on Blu-ray.
The wait for James Cameron‘s massive big-screen epic is finally over this weekend as Avatar opens in theatres, and in IMAX. Also opening is the period drama The Young Victoria starring Emily Blunt, and the romantic comedy Did You Hear About the Morgans?
