CroisiEurope, one of Europe’s biggest river cruise lines, has exciting itineraries coming up in 2027, exploring the incredible Amazon River.
The eco-focused trips open travellers up to seeing biodiversity and vibrant cultures along the Amazon River, plus the Rio Negro, Solimões, Arapiuns, and Tapajós, even stretching up to the Colombian border. And the itineraries are all aboard their upcoming new ship, the RV Brasilian Dream.
CroisiEurope will announce more details in early July, with three 11-day itineraries:
- An Amazon & Rio Negro adventure starting and ending in Manaus.
- A journey along the Amazon & Rio Tapajos between Manaus and Santarém.
- And a cruise between Brazil & Colombia on the Amazon, travelling from Manaus to Tabatinga.
What can you expect on these trips? CroisiEurope has teased some of the best of the new experiences, including visiting big parks and special protected areas, including UNESCO sites. Travellers will get to see wildlife, whether you’re walking, in a small boat, or a traditional dugout canoe.
There will also be opportunities to meet local indigenous communities, exciting night-time adventures, visiting charming villages along the riverbanks, local crafts and cuisine, and interesting talks onboard.
Your home away from home will be the RV Brasilian Dream, a purpose-built, four-deck ship that’s designed for just 32 guests –an intimate and unique experience compared to many cruises.
The new ship features wood, bright colours, and local art that brings the Amazonian vibe to life through 16 suites, and each with their own private balcony. Two presidential suites will also be available, “suspended between the sky and water.”
Onboard, guests will also enjoy gourmet restaurant dining with Brazilian food, a spa, fitness room, sun deck, and there will even be a conference room.
CroisiEurope is serious about being green and protecting the Amazon. The RV Brasilian Dream has a number of eco-tech innovations, like engines that meet the toughest environmental rules, an advanced wastewater treatment system, and solar panels to operate on batteries during nights.
