This month Samsung gave me a demo of some of their new SmartThings products, and how they're being used at the Alexa Smart Home Pop-Up in Toronto. It was a great demonstration of just how much control there is now, and with a simple voice command, or push of a button, what you can do.
Samsung's phones have been some of my favorites for a long time, and the Note series stands out above all others because it's not just versatile and easy to use, it's also big and the S Pen is seriously useful on a daily basis. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is the latest and greatest to date, and further develops one of my favorite things about the devices: the user experience.
Samsung just announced their new flagship tablet, and it's a step up for users who want to work and play. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 comes with Samsung DeX, features a better battery, an improved S Pen, and includes a number of new features and enhancements aimed at productivity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 checks off a lot of boxes for my must-have features in a phone, and while the device is close to a year old, it's still one of the most impressive phones out there right now, and the price is set to get even better.
Like a lot of people, my phone comes with me everywhere, and it's my go-to device for capturing the moment. From events, to travel, and heading to the park with my family, my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is my favorite device for photos and video because of its dual cameras, loads of features, and great performance in all kinds of lighting conditions.
Twenty years ago, our vision of the future was pretty spectacular, and obviously way, way off. Where are our jetpacks, hoverboards, flying cars, and robots? What I love though is that the future is starting to look easier and more comfortable, without any of the wacky new gadgets we might have dreamed about. If you want an example of that, just look at the Samsung Connected Home, a space that Samsung Canada set up at their head office to show off the possibilities for a smart and connected home.
Samsung Canada revealed the Galaxy S9 and S9+ from Mobile World Congress in Barcelona today, and the mobile phones offer a host of new features: Super Slow-mo, Dual Aperture lens, AR Emoji, stereo speakers, and upgrades to Samsung's Infinity Display.
