This week, Netflix and Fox Television Studios announced that the third season of The Killing will be available to stream on Netflix just three months after the finale airs on AMC. In anticipation of the third season’s debut on Netflix, The GATE is giving away a special prize pack including a subscription to Netflix and a Roku.
Season one and two of The Killing are already available to watch on Netflix, and season three of the series will arrive later this year.
Synopsis: The critically acclaimed drama, based on the Danish series Forbrydelsen, follows various murder investigations led by homicide detectives “Sarah Linden” (Mireille Enos) and “Stephen Holder” (Joel Kinnaman). After the close of the “Rosie Larsen case,” covered over the first two seasons of the series, Season 3 picks up one year later, with Linden no longer a detective. When ex-partner Holder’s search for a runaway girl leads him to discover a gruesome string of murders that connects to a previous murder investigation by Linden, she is drawn back into the life she thought she’d left behind.
