Jackass Forever stars talk Johnny Knoxville, that bear stunt, and surviving 20+ years

Jackass Forever

What a difference a couple of decades make. Jackass Forever is the latest from star instigator Johnny Knoxville and his team of guys turned stunt men, and it’s really like nothing we’ve seen before from the team.

For one thing, there’s a bear this time, but there are also way more bad ideas and downright painful gags. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you might even have to watch a scene or two through your fingers if you’re not up to the challenge.

With a few new friends, celebrity guests, and some animal encounters, Jackass Forever is a wild, diabolical ride, including the over-the-top, ball-busting opening credits.

I sat down with Dave England, Ehren “Danger” McGhehey, Preston Lacy, and Wee Man to talk about what this new set of stunts was like to pull off, how they’ve survived all these years, and maybe best of all, what that bear stunt was like to film.

They also shared what it’s like working with Johnny Knoxville again.

“I don’t trust him,” England said. “You just see him and that little laugh he does, and you know what it is? The nicer he is to you, the more you’re going to get f___ed up. He’s the worst when he’s nice.”

“The way you see him, that’s how he is,” Wee Man said.

“You say collaborator, we say instigator,” Lacy added.

Watch the interviews with the guys below. Jackass Forever is streaming now on Paramount+, it’s available for rent or purchase on digital, and the film arrives on Blu-ray and DVD April 19, 2022.
