Watch: Scenic Route To Alaska’s “How It Feels”

Scenic Route to Alaska

Edmonton’s Scenic Route To Alaska are set to release their new LP, Tough Luck, in March, but until then “How It Feels” sets the scene with a “no holds barred” video inside the wrestling ring.

The catchy, hook-laden single is the latest and greatest example of what makes Scenic Route To Alaska’s music so much fun (listen to “Love Keeps” for another great example from last year). The band has an effortless style, with melodies that are addictive and stuck in your ears after the first listen. If “How It Feels” is any indication of what’s in store on the new LP, I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album.

Scenic Route To Alaska are Trevor Mann, on lead vocals and guitar, drummer Shea Connor, and bassist Murray Wood. Tough Luck will feature 10 tracks, recorded with producer Howard Redekopp, known for his work with Tegan & Sara and The New Pornographers.

The band is on tour now with shows starting in March, including SXSW on March 15, and Toronto’s Adelaide Hall on April 21. Follow Scenic Route To Alaska on Facebook and Twitter.
