Canadian artists Mathew V and Jocelyn Alice have teamed up for the single “Missing Me”, and it’s a tremendously sweet, moving pop song that hits home with the duo’s incredible vocals.
Mathew V’s voice soars, and together with Jocelyn Alice’s powerful range, the duo hit the perfect mix of soaring, yearning, and emotional notes for this would-be hit about lost love.
“I hope you are keeping safe and taking care of yourselves,” Alice said. “I was hoping to come across the country and meet all of you guys to promote ‘Missing Me’, but that does not look like it’s going to happen, so… [here’s] the music video, which I love. Let me know what you think, and again, hope you guys are well.”
“Missing Me” was directed by Canadian director Emma Higgins and features a split-screen video as the two singers belt out the pop song.
Mathew V has written for numerous artists, and hit the top 40 with his single “Tell Me Smooth”, and boasts 10 million streams of his songs.
Jocelyn Alice hit it big with her 2015 single “Jackpot”, which was certified Platinum in Canada and reached top 15 on a number of Canadian pop charts.
