Mia Sayoko’s “Die Alone”

Mia Sayoko

Mia Sayoko’s “Die Alone” is a self-love song; a ballad for yourself when the people in your life don’t come through.

The modern, electro pop single has a great beat, and Sayoko’s vocals are sweet, silvery, and sadly earnest, but hopeful.

“Die Alone is about recognizing self-worth and self-respect,” Sayoko said. “If I don’t have someone that loves me more than I love myself, I’d rather die alone.”

The 25-year-old Los Angeles and YouTuber was born in Okinawa, Japan, and boasts over 4.5 million subscribers on her channel. She started releasing singles in late 2019, including “2020”, “Like Like You”, and “High”.
