“Little Ways” was self written and self produced by the Canadian artist, who said the track came from going “on a mission to write a good song to listen to while driving with the windows down in the summer.”
“Lyrically,” she said, “it’s about the feeling of falling for someone new, and having a soft spot for only that one person.”
