Madison Beer’s “Stained Glass”

Madison Beer wears her heart on her sleeve for her new single, “Stained Glass”. Her vocals are haunting and beautiful, in a track that’s downbeat, and focused completely on her lyrics.

Compared to a lot of tracks that are way too busy, the song is simple, with Beer’s silky vocals at the centre of a laser focus, as every sound comes back to mirror her.

“I wrote ‘Stained Glass’ at a time where I was really struggling mentally,” Beer said. “This song was my message, not only to the public, but to those around me, to be more gentle on people and not judge them so hard, because you never know what someone’s been through. People sometimes assume that I’m ok, when I’m not; people don’t really see the parts of me that are the ugly, sad or depressed, they only see the sides they want to see, or the sides I feel comfortable to show because of the scrutiny that I’ve been under in my life.”

Beer will release her debut album later this year with Epic Records. The album will also include her previous singles “Good In Goodbye” and “Selfish”.

To date, Beer has sold over 1 million records in the UK alone, and she’s earned over 1 billion streams globally.
