Don’t let the January blues get you down when you could be planning your summer holiday. This weekend, the Toronto Winter RV Show is on at the Toronto Congress Centre, giving you and your family the perfect excuse to see how you could be adventuring for your summer holidays.
Considering the kinds of options available, there are RVs of every shape, size, and description, whether you need a bed for two, four, eight, or more.
Running from January 16 to 19, the RV Show features 2020 and recent models for sale–and in some cases for rent–from micro and travel trailers all the way up to fifth wheels, toy haulers, and full-size motorhomes.
Need an RV with a full kitchen and a big screen TV? There are RVs that might be nicer than your home, if that’s what you’re looking for, but I was really impressed by the small and mid-sized options too.
My goal this summer is to see if my family and I could potentially head out in an RV, and I was curious to see what sizes would work for a week or more camping and on the road.
Ontario Provincial Parks and Parks Canada both offer a lot of options for RVs, and there are camp sites across the country that offer the perfect spot for a short or extended trip. (Go RVing Canada has a page that can help you find camping options if you’re looking.)
The Toronto Winter RV Show also has accessories you can check out, seminars, and prize giveaways. There was even a little info about an experiment with a Tesla electric car pulling a mid-sized Airstream RV.
Tickets are $15 all weekend long, and the show opens at 10 AM on Saturday, and 11 AM on Sunday.
Watch the video below to get a peek at some of the RVs I saw at the show, scroll down for a few photos, and let me know if you spotted one that you would love to get away in. (Without a doubt, the Aistream RVs are near the very top of my list.)
