Golden drink recipes for your Oscar party

Mix something a little different for your Oscar party with three drink recipes that bring gold to your guests thanks to Goldschläger cinnamon schnapps. With its sweet flavour and flecks of gold, this is a great ingredient for making unique cocktails.

Gold Martini

• 1 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Goldschläger

Shaken or stirred, this martini is simple and worthy of any Oscar contender. For the best results, chill your vodka before serving. Garnish with a stick of cinnamon, or a Maraschino cherry for a little colour.

Cool Gold

• 1 oz Baileys Irish Cream
• 1/2 oz Goldschläger
• 1 oz Coffee – chilled
• Ice
• Whipped cream
• Chocolate shavings

This one tastes great and will keep you awake for the whole show. Just mix together the Baileys Irish Cream, Goldschläger, and coffee with a little ice, stir, and top with whipped cream and a little chocolate shavings.

Warm Gold

• 1 Slice of ginger
• 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
• 1 tbsp Honey
• 1/2 oz Goldschläger
• 1 oz Vodka

For something a little sweet and sour, and a little different for your Oscar party, mix Vodka with Goldschläger, a little lemon juice, and stir in honey before serving with a slice of ginger.
