“Best. Ever.” is a weekly conglomeration of things that made my week. And there was much rejoicing.
Fable II
Fable 2 fans were teased with its presence in November, but the day has finally arrived.
Microsoft and Lionhead Studios released the Knothole Island downloadable content pack today, giving Fable 2 players three new quests, complete with new gear, weapons, and appearance-altering potions.
The year is drawing to a close, the Holiday festivities are well under way, and The GATE wants to thank our loyal visitors with our biggest giveaway of the year.
We also want to thank the kind people at Microsoft, Universal Home Entertainment, and Zip.ca for donating loads of goodies for this year’s huge, year-end contest.
While I play movie catchup, watching a bunch of movies (like The Godfather) that I have never seen before, I’m also having a hard time finding time to play all of the games I want to check out.
The oldest game currently on my to do list happens to be Bioshock, which is pretty damn awesome. That’s followed by the polar opposite, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga which I suspect will be a bit more of a casual playthrough.
There is still no official launch date for Fable 2 for the Xbox 360, but I’m starting to get pretty antsy waiting for it. I think it’s safe to bet…
