Toronto’s iconic Fairmont Royal York hotel celebrates its 90th anniversary this summer, and in honour of the special occasion, the hotel is preparing to unveil a number of changes, from the lobby experience to the guest suites, and the food.
A new hotel opened a few months ago in the middle of the increasingly competitive hotel landscape of Toronto, and given the fact that there is such competition now each new property, if they are to flourish, must offer guests an experience that is unique both in substance and in atmosphere. It’s Toronto‘s turn. Sure, there’s been a hotel or two opening here or there over the past few years in Ontario‘s (and Canada’s) Big Apple. The city that has a reputation for good times, great theatre and gorgeous skylines is upping its hotel offerings with a mix of five-star and boutique properties bound to make everyone’s New Year wish list.
