We catch up with Ottawa native Grace Lynn Kung to talk about her role as a Washington D.C. lobbyist in the American set, but Canadian shot drama Miss Sloane, starring Jessica Chastain, in theatres now.
Miss Sloane
Jessica Chastain once again plays a hardnosed, take-no-prisoners professional type in Miss Sloane, a well meaning, agreeable tale of do-gooders, master manipulators, and profit driven evil types trying to navigate a broken American governmental system, but it’s also a rather silly film that’s more entertaining than righteous in its cause.
Opening with La La Land and boasting premieres and screenings of award season heavyweights and a plethora of Canadian talent, this year’s Whistler Film Festival has something for everybody.
