What’s on your post-pandemic bucket list? After months of lockdowns and closures, travel and vacationing are at the top of my list, and right after I get back out in Ontario, I’m really looking forward to a beach vacation somewhere warm and sunny.
Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos is one of the most stunning, remarkable vacation resorts in the entire world. In fact, it feels like a disservice to simply call the property a resort. By comparison, it might be a little like calling a Rolls-Royce simply a car.
Sun destinations are a fantastic way to escape the chill of Canada’s fall and winter months, but recently I had the good fortune of something a little bit grander than a simple getaway.
For a week I was lucky enough to spend time at some of the most luxurious resorts in Turks and Caicos, where I have to admit it felt a bit more like I was escaping to a real life “Fantasy Island.” Even weeks later, after my tan is fading, and I’m completely back in my grove, I still have to admit that it was one of the most memorable, amazing trips I have ever taken.
