How much can a fan really expect from a film that is half of a novel’s story arc, and was made by the same director who brought us Constantine and I Am Legend?
The Hunger Games
Take a look at the first images that Lionsgate has released for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the hotly anticipated film, which is being directed by Francis Lawrence, is headed to theatres on November 22, 2013 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and Sam Claflin.
Considering the legion of fans who have been awaiting The Hunger Games movie, based on Suzanne Collins’ hit novel, there’s enough anticipation for this soon-to-be adored film that you could probably cut the tension with a (throwing) knife, but there’s lots of good news for fans. Better still, you don’t even need to be a teenager, or a fan, to enjoy this tense action-adventure.
I had a a very interesting afternoon today. Alliance Films had their press screening for The Hunger Games, and while I’m still trying to figure out how I felt about it, I really enjoyed the film as a whole. I was also amazed at how tense I felt throughout most of the movie, which I was not expecting at all, to be blunt.
