Insta360 announced the new Go 3 action camera, a tiny but powerful device for capturing the world at up to 2.7K resolution.

The Insta360 Go 3 weights just 35 grams, it’s about the size of your thumb, and it attaches using strong magnets to make it easy to mount and use almost anywhere.

With the new Action Pod, the Go 3 also offers a flip touchscreen to make it easier to preview the shot, and take control of the device with up to 170 minutes of battery. The Go 3 features a 310 mAh battery that can last up to 45 minutes on its own.

The Action Pod offers a 2.2″ screen, with Bluetooth for remote control and live preview, and uses the same magnetic mounts as the Go 3 so it’s easy to attach it to one of the accessories.

The Go 3 includes a magnet pendant, for wearing the action camera, an easy clip that can be attached to hats or clothing for hands-free use, and the pivot stand that has a reusable sticky mount that adjusts for a range of angles.

While the Pod is IPX4 water-resistant, the Go 3 is IPX8 water proof down to 5 meters, so you can take it almost anywhere.

FlowState and 360 Horizon Lock stabilization deliver excellent footage, and the camera has a replaceable Lens Guard for extra protection.

Dual microphones deliver clearer and crisper audio versus previous models, and Voice Control 2.0 allows for fully hands-free use.

Other notable features on the new camera include:

  • Pre-recording, Loop Recording and Timed Capture
  • Power editing through the Insta360 app
  • FreeFrame Mode for editing the aspect ratio
  • AI-powered editing to create easy clips for social media
  • TimeShift for hyperlapse montages, AI-powered PureShot HDR, and slow motion up to 120fps

The Insta360 Go 3 is available now to purchase starting at $379.99 USD for 32 GB of storage, $399.99 USD for 64GB, and $429.99 for 128GB of storage. Visit the Insta360 store for more details.
