Mythic Quest star Imani Hakim is one of the best parts of the Apple TV+ series. As Dana, Hakim has been a highlight since season one.
“Dana changed so much,” Hakim said. “I think she’s changed the most out of all the characters in the show. What was really fun about Dana, was that she was written completely differently when I was first cast.”
“She was a little bit more reserved and a little bit more naive and unassuming and oblivious. So it’s really nice to see her grow up into the woman that she is, to plant her feet into the ground and stand in her confidence and her vision.”
While the workplace comedy may have the characters at each other’s necks a lot of the time, off camera and behind the scenes, the cast spends a lot of time together.
“It’s refreshing to go to work and notice that your personality meshes so well with your other cast mates and we just have so much fun together,” she said. “We really lean into hanging out with each other even when we don’t have to, like in between takes we’re in somebodys dressing room having a dance party or, after work, we’re like, ‘Well, what are we doing now?'”
