Pixar fans will love the festival that’s on right now at Disneyland Resort. You can celebrate your favourite Pixar films and characters across Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park at Pixar Fest, on now until August 4.

From Miguel in Coco to Carl, Russell, and Dug in Up!–and so many other favourites from Turning Red, Inside Out, Monsters, Inc., and The Incredibles–Pixar Fest has a lot of lively entertainment across the parks.

The celebration is everywhere at the parks, with fun and colourful decorations, special menu items available at a number of restaurants, lots of Pixar-themed merchandise for sale, and fun for kids and adults.

Twice a day, the Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration parade rolls alongside Paradise Gardens Park, across from Pixar Pier, and there are roller skaters, characters walking and dancing, floats, and music.

The new parade is a celebration of all your favourite characters, and everyone has a lot of fun cheering along the route. It’s hard not to smile seeing Mei Lee dancing away as her Red Panda self up there.

Kicking off at Disneyland on April 26, Pixar Fest also has a dance party called Club Pixar, and the high-energy show, Pixar Pals Playtime Party. You can also luck out spotting Ember and Wade from Elemental while you’re in the parks, and at Disneyland Park there’s the night-time show Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular on select nights.

Seeing Miguel on the front of a float–not long after Russell with Kevin had been dancing along through the street–was a real treat, especially after Luca and Alberto had just said hello to everyone, too. And the roller skaters and performers who fly along with the floats have some amazing skills.

Starting on May 10, the Festival Marketplaces open with menu items inspired by Pixar films, and that’s in addition to the Pixar-related menu items that are already available at restaurants in both parks.

If you’re looking to stay at the resort and enjoy even more of the Pixar fun, you can also book rooms now at the Pixar Place Hotel, which opened earlier this year and features all things Pixar. From the giant Luxo Jr. in the lobby, to all the details in the rooms, and character appearances, it’s the perfect place for everything Pixar.

Downtown Disney District is also celebrating Pixar Fest with merchandise for sale, special menu items, and entertainment.

While you’re at Disneyland, be sure to check the schedule for World of Color – ONE, a night-time entertainment spectacle across from Pixar Pier, taking over the lake with an incredible light and water show featuring moments and music from Moana, Ratatouille, Star Wars, Soul, and more. The show is amazing, and you can reserve tickets for their special dessert viewing package that gets you a special front-row seat with a plate of delicious treats, cheeses, and a drink.

Upcoming Disneyland Resort events in 2024 include Halloween Time from August 23 to October 31; A Celebration of Coco Plaza de la Familia from August 23 to November 2; and The Holidays Begin Here starting on November 15. Season of the Force is also on now until June 2 at Disneyland Park.
