Flair Airlines launched direct flights from Toronto and Vancouver to Mexico City, with service three days a week.
The airline celebrated with gate events at both Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), including special guests and treats.
“Making it easier for Mexicans to explore Canada, and for Canadians to discover Mexico, it’s what affordable, modern aviation is supposed to do,” said Maciej Wilk, CEO of Flair Airlines. “This route is a major win for our customers. We’re proud to expand our international network and make meaningful connections more accessible for all.”
Flights from Toronto to Mexico City depart Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with flights returning from Mexico City on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights continue throughout winter 2026 until April 11, 2026. Base fares start at $160 and $180, respectively.
In Toronto, the flights depart from Pearson International Airport’s Terminal 3.
“This new route enhances the vital people-to-people connections that have been developing between Mexico and Canada for over 80 years,” said Christian Clay, Mexican Trade Commissioner in Toronto. “It not only strengthens ties among the many Mexican residents and communities in the Greater Toronto Area but also opens new avenues for Canadian travellers, business leaders, and cultural enthusiasts to explore Mexico’s vibrant culture and dynamic economy.”
Duncan Pattillo, the Director Customer Experience at Flair Airlines, suggested at the event in Toronto that, if demand is high enough, Flair may add more flights to the route.
Christina Iacovino, Director Customer Experience and Development, Greater Toronto Airports Authority was on hand at Pearson for the announcement alongside Ambassador Porfirio Munoz Ledo Chevannier, Consul General of Mexico, Toronto.
